About Me
Hiya! My name is Kimmy (She/They) I am a handpoke tattoo artist born and raised in Vancouver to immigrant parents from Hong Kong. I am a resident artist at slowside tattoo studio, an appoinment only artist collective in the so called “ vancouver” on the unceded lands of Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Watuth Nations.
I specialize in fine line and microrealism with a strong focus on the nature around us and Chinese imagery. My work focuses on capturing the feeling of nostalgia, awe and wonder. I work in both grey scale work and soft watercolor shading. The linework and shading I produce often mimics pencil lines and sketching.
I'm excited to meet all of you and hear your stories as we collaborate to create beautiful things.
